Dr. Garcia Cartagena, Kayleigh, Brady, and Olivia took great care of our under-the-weather (and somewhat dramatic) corgi. They were patient and so kind to him and to us—“airlifting” him when he didn’t feel like walking, answering our questions, explaining treatments/tests, and following up when we had additional concerns later in the day. This was our first visit, and we will be back with both of our doggos.
I recently moved to the area and was concerned about finding a new vet that I liked. I hit the jackpot with Dogwood Trails! Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet tech to the doctor were very nice and helpful. They didn’t rush me in and out, they spent time answering all of my questions thoroughly and they were very sweet to my dog. Then, to top it all off, the prices are reasonable! 😊 I highly recommend taking your fur babies to Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital!
I can’t say enough great things about Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital. Hachi wasn’t feeling well, and what started as a very stressful and emotional situation for my wife, Courtney, and me quickly turned into an incredibly positive experience because of the amazing team here.
From the moment we walked in, Kenleigh, Kate, and Lane were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely cared about Hachi. They took the time to comfort him (and us), answered our questions, and made us feel like we were in the best possible hands.
Dr. O’Keefe was simply exceptional. She performed a thorough examination, quickly diagnosed Hachi with a double ear infection and severe allergies, and explained everything clearly so we understood exactly what was going on. She immediately put together a treatment plan that focused on getting him comfortable and helping him feel better as quickly as possible. It was obvious that she truly cares about her patients and treats them as if they were her own.
What really stood out to us wasn’t just the excellent medical care—it was the kindness, patience, and genuine compassion shown by every single member of the team. They took what could have been a chaotic, overwhelming, and stressful visit and somehow made it feel calm, reassuring, and even enjoyable because of the way they interacted with Hachi and with us.

Went in and service was in and out in 35 minutes all his shots and tests. Kate helped me and was very informed and made the process easier. Now the best part, the price. Best priced vet I’ve ever been to by far for routine checkups!
